In late 2018 the school was fortunate to receive a generous donation towards music education. Margaret Robinson, a nurse manager of the nursing agency Staff Nursing, chose our school to benefit from this. Last year we were able to reduce the cost of one year’s instrument tuition fees for a number of children. In November we welcomed The Gathering Drum to school. A brilliant day was had by all....

What an honour for our school choir to perform in Larne Town Hall, at the Mayor’s reception for Larne Traders’ Day. The children thoroughly entertained the crowd with a selection of carols and festive songs. Thank you to the Mayor for her kind gifts to the children. They were greatly appreciated. πŸŽ„πŸŒŸ

What a night at our Carol Concert! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸŽ„ The children excelled themselves as they took to the stage tonight to lead us in a celebration of Christmas. Moyle Primary School’s extremely talented cast of P4, 5, 6 and 7s wowed the audience with sensational singing, tuneful instrumental renditions, moving readings and festive poems and a fab choral performance by P5 and LSC3. #moylehasgottalent

The school choir had a wonderful day celebrating Christmas at the Belfast Carols at the SSE Arena! πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸ€ΆπŸ»πŸŽ„πŸŽ‰ So much so we were still singing songs when we arrived back to school last night. The children were an absolute credit to themselves and our school. Thank you to the EA for letting us be part of such a magical event. Christmas memories to last a lifetime! ❀️#larne #teammoyle...

Primary 7 enjoyed the experience of a Victorian school day. Who was brave enough to try the dreaded gruel? Who met the wrath of the teacher’s cane? Who wore the dunce’s hat? The day was complete with technical drawing for boys, sewing for girls, Victorian Christmas carols, morning drill and writing with chalk. Would you like to have been a Victorian?
