P7 had a fantastic day experiencing the rules and restrictions of a Victorian school day. The children practised their 3 Rs of Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic in the classroom and kept active outside with drill
They tasted gruel, buttermilk and their own freshly made butter on oatcakes. In the afternoon some of the children experienced needlework whilst others tried technical drawing. They also took part in a traditional Victorian singsong.
