My name is Miss Haddock and I am the class teacher. Our busy week of learning is supported by the work of our hardworking assistants, Mrs Pyper and Mrs Smith who also supports the other P3 class sometimes.
A typical week in P3 involves our daily literacy and numeracy lessons as well as opportunities throughout the week to enjoy outdoor PE, ICT and many chances for our children to showcase their activity through various other subjects.
We enjoy learning about the world around us in a very practical way as we explore our topics throughout the year. Our topics include ‘Celebrating Me’, ‘Light and Dark’, ‘Cold Lands’, ‘Pets’ and ‘Animals’. In these topics, we look at ourselves, our history, the geography of the world around us and other creatures we share the world with.
