Miss Montgomery's Class

Welcome to P1!

My name is Miss Montgomery and I am currently teaching P1. I am also responsible for being Deputy Designated Teacher and assist Miss Wallace with the school choir. In our P1 classroom helping me we have Mrs McRandal and Miss Mitchell.

Our first topic was 'Marvellous Me'. P1 has had so much fun learning about their bodies and how they look after them. Our current topic is the 'Magical Toymaker', which helps us learn all about toys at Christmas. Throughout the year will be exploring topics such as “Once Upon a Time”, reading some lovely fairy tales and “The Secret Garden” where we will investigate minibeasts with lots of exciting activities planned. We even get a class pet, our own caterpillar which we will watch form into a butterfly!
